After 3 tries, we finally received an undamaged crib. Once assembled and we put a standard size crib mattress into it, we were alarmed to see there was a very large gap (over 1 inch) on the sides of the mattress. As we were examining this, we noticed that as the sides of this crib had pressure put on them, the gap increased to 2 inches. We returned the crib immediately, as this is an unsafe sleeping environment for a child. We are very disappointed - we liked the looks and the price of this crib, but that doesn't matter when it comes to safety.

I love this crib! It is simple to put together and take apart, and is sturdy!! I would definitely buy this again if I have another baby.
