As far as a pressure regulator hose goes, one is as good as another, so long as it doesn't leak.
The only reason I bought this stainless braided one is because my dog chewed through the rubber one that came with my grill!

The hose seems to have stopped the dog from chewing through it, so it accomplished what I wanted.

The only regret I have is I could not buy a shorter one. I only needed about 8 - 12 inch hose.

I searched high and low for this exact product and didn't find it anywhere else. My dog chewed through the rubber hose that came with my grill and the first replacement hose I bought (also rubber). I was willing to pay any price for a metal hose and was extremely pleased with this products price; including shipping it was the same as what I paid for the first rubber hose replacement. If your in the market there isn't a better value.

My regulator started leaking on my gas bbq after about 5 years. Bought this one as a generic replacement and it works just fine. I like the stainless braided hose. Should hold up better than the original rubber hose that failed me.

Been using this for about a month and have no issues with it.
